I've just taken part to the management of an SVR3 Unix and I found the /etc/group to be in the wrong format. The users list, for each group is separated by a space instead of a comma, as indicated in the doc. Can this be inherently dangerous, or is it OK. We have lots of shell scripts for creating users that include this mistake.
