I'm not quite sure why you call this "misinformation"; I've seen several studies about this and it looks to be perfectly legitimate. Since I like rock music myself, I can see why you might be annoyed by it, but not why you would call it misinformation. Babies in the womb DO have some awareness of what is happening in the outside world; they know when their mother is upset, or when she is happy, and react to these situations. You can even play games with them: if you push in one side of the stomach and then the other, you can get them to kick where you're pushing. Anyway, I just wanted to get across the point that just because something may be annoying doesn't make it wrong. Diane Donaldson seismo!rlgvax!cvl

I would assume that there's SOME awareness of external stimuli but I doubt anyone knows to what degree. At any rate, when my pregnant wife walked into the living room where I had a Steel Pulse reggae tape playing this morning, Jr. became rather active. I switched to a Mozart symphony & left for work. Hardly a controlled experiment but I'm going to call home later & see if there was any change with Mozart. Maybe s/he would prefer Marley? J. Johnson ihuxl!esj
