I am trying to find a public-domain utility which allows queueing of jobs in a FIFO manner, to be executed later during low system loads. This is typically the kind of batching you might find implemented on a lot of DEC-VMS or IBM-MVS systems. We're running Ultrix 4.0 on a VAX 8810. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide any pointers in this matter. Many thanks in advance. - Shekhar Borde alpha@hubcap.clemson.edu P.S: I understand that something similar was posted sometime back in comp.sources.unix
