Hello, After I saw the question about "rc" in /etc/rc 
my intereset in other such trivia has been piqued. Does
anyone know of a good Unix reference for such questions.
i.e, is there a book on history of UNIX.

"Life With UNIX" by Don Libes and Sandy Ressler (1989 Prentice-Hall,
ISBN 0-13-536657-7) is probably your best bet.
