[comp.unix.questions] Binary file transfer with 'tip'

Sorry if this letter is a duplicate- a previous try went out without
a subject header line.

'man' doesn't say whether binary files can be transferred with 'tip'
or how to do it.  If it can be done, could someone please mail/post
a description of the method?

Try uuencoding the file then normail tip tranfer (~p/~t).
