I'm a student at the University of Pittsburg and have a problem with connecting an at&t 7300 unix-pc to a at&t 3b2/400 so the unix-pc can use the 3b2's printer to do a remote print. Right now the unix-pc is connected to the 3b2 as a terminal via uucp, one of the unix-pc's rs232 ports, and a standard terminal line from the 3b2. The unix-pc can connect to the 3b2 by issuing a "cu -l /dev/tty000" command. The user can then login from there. What i want to do is to be able to do a remote print from the at&t 7300 to print files on the 3b2's printer. I've been trying to do this using uucp and its commands, but haven't had any luck so far. I'm not all that sure that the 7300 or the 3b2 is configured right to do this. If anyone out there can help or has any ideas, then please mail any ideas to the address below. Thanks for your help!
