#N:hp-pcd:9800002:000:955 hp-pcd!charlie Nov 12 17:25:00 1982 A mechanical engineer in our facility is looking for some design packages to aid in his work, these are examples of the type of capabilities that he is looking for: ACSL - Advanced Continuous Simulation Language or CSSL - ? Both programs solve differential equations at discrete time intervals and by incrementing the time a simulation is computed. The program is largely integration (numerical) enabling the solution to equations such as: M d**2 x/d t**2 + C dx/dt + kx = F(t) Other programs may exist under different titles. We currently have a VAX 11/750 with 4.1bsd, and a boatload of HP-3000's and 1000's If you have any information about anything approaching this please respond directly to me.
