[comp.unix.questions] Can't forward mail

mcovingt@athena.cs.uga.edu (Michael A. Covington) (04/10/91)

In mail, on some Suns, I can forward a message to someone else by
doing this:

& | mail somebody@somewhere

On other Suns I get the message "No applicable messages from {mail}"
when I try to do this. What am I doing wrong?

You have to quote the argument to |. Do this:

& | 'mail somebody@somewhere'

Works like a charm.
