[net.wanted] Need help with VMS delete character

70:william@sri-unix (11/15/82)

Does anybody out there in net land know enough about VMS to tell me how to fix
it so the silly OS uses backspace (control-H) as the delete character rather
then (or in addition to) <DELETE>. I keep putting ^H into my files by accident.
I know they should be using UNIX, but these crazy people don't know any better.

Please mail reply's to ucbvax!arizona!70:william

Or just use the `r' response to readnews and see what happens.

Note: the `70:' garbage is needed, our gateway `arizona' is known to the net.
However I'm on a pdp 11/70 that talks to `arizona' via berknet.

These paths should work, but I wouldn't be too suprised if they don't.
