The reason I need this is because I cannot get more than one ftp process out of my machine, a hp9000/330. I have an old version of HP-UX (5.5), can't afford an upgrade. I inherited this machine and don't have all the manuals, including the all important network services manual. I need to know how to configure the network to allow more buffer space (? or whatever) to allow more telnets and ftp accesses. Basically, if someone is telnetting or ftping out from the machine, nobody else can do an ftp, either in or out. It allows the ftp login, but after that, you can't even do a dir or anything. It just says File Transfer started, but it justs locks up. I can do about 2 telnets before it starts saying 'out of buffer space' or something. If anyone has a manual, and can help me out, I'd be grateful. TIA -- Seng-Poh Lee splee@gnu.ai.mit.edu
