I have two questions about MS-Kermit. I am using 3.10 on an IBM PC compatible. My first question is: on my system, the serial port which kermit should connect to is Com3: and IRQ 5. I can set port com3, but how do I tell it to use IRQ5? My second question is: I want kermit to do a particular thing whenever you exit from it (in my case, output a string to the com port). I am not concerned with pushing to a dos shell, but whenever someone exits, quits or byes, I want to execute and output command. I can do this by having kermit run from a bat file which runs kermit and then copies the appropriate string to com3:, but I was wondering if there is a way to do this without using a bat file? Please reply via email as I don't read this group regularly, I will summarize, if requested to do so, to comp.os.msdos.misc.
