I'm trying to setup tcp/ip obviously, have a good idead what I'm doing. Problem: How do I get the aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff Ethernet address? the book says that during first time installation, the script calculates this number, but since I am merely configuring, I can't seem to get that # ?!?! I need this # before I can do anything else, apparently. /etc/ethers is empty. email tjreynol@zephyr.cair.du.edu Tim thanks
