[comp.unix.questions] Where's another mail ftp site?

johnboyd@logdis1.oc.aflc.af.mil (John Boyd;LAHDI) (05/16/91)

I sent a mail ftp type message to bitftp@pucc.princeton.edu and received
the following message:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * BITFTP is no longer able to provide service to * *
* * nodes that are not directly on EARN or BITNET * *
* * or NetNorth. Your node appears to be * *
* * accessible from BITNET only via a mail-only     * *
* * gateway. If you believe that your node is * *
* * directly on BITNET or NetNorth or EARN, please * *
* * send mail to MAINT@PUCC specifying your         * *
* * BITNET/EARN/NetNorth node name.                 * *
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Soooo, does anyone know where else one can send messages for this type
service, when one is connected to internet; OR how one would NOW re-phrase
the request to get it to work?
