I am posting this for a friend who has some problem interfacing a peripheeral device to a unix system through the serial port. The computer is a pdp11/34 and runs bsd2.9 unix. The serial card is a KL/DL11-E which has full modem control including CTS (Clear To Send). I would appreciate any information in the form of either a device driver or any usefull hints of things to check so that the serial card will do the handshaking properly. Please send your response through e-mail to: ins_aaga@jhunix : UUCP cad@hopkins-eecs-bravo.arpa : ARPA Thanks in advance aga

Does anyone know where I can get source for the serial io device drivers that come with Sco Unix 3.2. I need to add another serial port (three in total) but the supplied device driver only supports 2. Any information on this would be very appreciated. Thank you. ( I can't belive that DOS supports three serial ports without any problem, providing you get a serial card that lets you use IRQ 2 or IRQ 5, but UNIX can't!) --- %c #67sa
