Well, it seems that my question was relatively simple and the the answers I received were both appreciated and are working as we speak. To prove that I am an eager student, are there any recommendations from people out there on good UNIX books to complement the standard Kerninghan and Pike book. The problem, of course, is that there are so many now that it becomes difficult to filter out the best ones without investing a considerable amount of time in doing so. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again for the quick response on the network. (I just love this whole network thing!) -Patrick Lampani plampani@dpls.dacc.wisc.edu
