I am trying to figure out what the virtues of using a STREAMS service routine are. Most of the sample drivers I've seen use their own pseudo-service routine and don't rely on the STREAMS scheduler to call a devsrv routine. What are the pros and cons of doing this? Amy Moseley amy@austin.mcd.mot.com
