I have posted the vn version I mentioned a few weeks ago. See net.sources, since comp.sources seems to have gone the way of the Dodo, at least at this site. I am also mailing it to mod.sources, so you should be able to pick it up there once it has passed through the moderator's hands. It has pretty much what I alluded to in that article - I have had somebody at ATT Denver install it recently for SYS V, also. His only immediate problem involved picking up the old termcap library instead of the curses version, which caused it not to recognize the LINES / COLUMNS variables for running in windows on 5420 terminals. I think the README file should let you know what to do. Note for Lawrie Brown in Australia: After some deliberation, I did not integrate your changes for prefixing article names for OZ (for everybody else - apparently their net puts up articles with filenames prefixed with '#'). I decided that the article prefixing touched too many places in the code and represented too much of a special case to justify maintaining it "officially". I think there was one change you made that should have been #ifdef'ed for this, but wasn't. I still have your original diffs if they would be of help reconstructing the article prefixing you need to do. If it ever finds its way into the mainline copy, I think I would want to do it in a way which would allow an arbitrary string rather than a single char. for the prefix. -- Bob McQueer {amdahl, sun, mtxinu, hoptoad, cpsc6a}!rtech!bobm
