[comp.sources.d] Posting of deproc.sty

klr@hadron.UUCP (Kurt L. Reisler) (01/16/87)

Those of you who have submitted presentations for the Spring '87 DECUS
Symposium in Nashville should have received your speaker kits by now,
or will be receiving them soon. In the blue booklet that deals with
submissions to the Symposium Proceedings, a LaTeX macro package
(deproc) is discussed as an alternative method of submitting to the
Proceedings. I will be posting a copy of the mentioned LaTeX package
to comp.org.decus. I will be cross posting this message to comp.text
and comp.sources.d as they may have some interest in them as well.

I would like to thank Barbara Beeton of the American Mathematical
Society who did the work on the software. It is, though, in the public
domain. I would also like to thank the DECUS publications committee
for allowing us this alternative to the old paste-up sheets. The
decproc LaTeX macros will be posted in a second message, which will
contain the following in a SHAR file:

	README - some history
decproc.sty - the LaTeX macros package
	decproc.tex - Barbara's presentation and documentation
