[] About a month or two ago, some posted a version of uuencode and uudecode that included a checksum at the end of each line. It was upwardly compatible with the regular versions of the program because they end up ignoring the chars after a certain point on the line. I didn't see the need for such a thing at the time so I did not save it. Now I see a use for it and would really like it. Would the poster or someone who caught it please post it? The reason I want it is that I use a link that has some protocol that is transparent when typing but does not allow file transfers. Now I could use uuencode on my PC, upload it with plain ASCII transfer and check and unpack the file with the enhanced uudecode. The old uudecode would not catch transmission errors. Thanks.
