My company has a Vax11/780 w/ 8Mb. A while ago we changed from 4.2 to 4.3BSD. OK, in the 4.3 distribution there was this game called hunt. It was supposed to be very cool, interterminal battle and all that. Well, when one tries to run hunt, it asks you for your 'code name', then just stands there. For an eternity or two, until you manage to press ^C. Then it obediently clears the screen and ask you if you really wants to quit. Impressive game. I understand of course that something must be wrong. The most probable would be that there was no deamon running, .. just that it says in the docs that if no deamon is running when a player plays a game of hunt, that very game starts it up. And the hunt -q option gives a "HUNT!!! found on enea" or something equal. Now I ask, does anyone know what is wrong, and what I should ask my system administrator to do? Thankful for any comments. -- /Peter (turbo) Svenson pesv@enea (UUCP) enea!pesv@seismo.arpa (ARPA) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Zen can make you help other people, or, failing that, at least get them off your back."
