Hi, A couple of days ago, I pulled out a VT220 fonts editor from the comp. sources group. The person who had written this program said something to the effect that it should work fine on the Unix even though it was written on the Sys V. (Or am I missing something here?) Anyway. Turns out that our machine doesn't have the include file called "termio.h". Is this unique to our machine, or is it true in general? I tried commenting that line, so that I could figure out the modules that were undefined, and substitute those module names after finding them in the include library. Haven't been too successful in doing the latter though. Any help would be appreciated. Thank ye. Vallury

Is this unique to our machine, or is it true in general? fontedit uses capabilities only found on a Sys V system. The one I quickly noticed was the VMIN parameter in a tty ioctl. We run Ultrix 1.2 (with some Sys V compatability features) and it doesn't work here. Perhaps it could be hacked for Berkley, but I haven't looked into it. -- Patrick Peters UUCP: ut-sally!im4u!ti-csl!tifsie!pat Texas Instruments sun!texsun!ti-csl!tifsie!pat PO Box 655012 M/S 3635 uiucdcs!convex!smu!tifsie!pat Dallas, TX 75265 Voice: (214)995-2786
