Well me, I'm a Wyse 50 fan. We've got a couple of Wyse 50's (as well as some other terminals) with flow control turned OFF hooked up to a Stride 440 zipping along at 38.4K baud without any sluggishness problems whatsoever. I've noticed that when I turn flow control on, the Wyse actually slows down a little bit (it actually starts doing flow control! :-) ), so we just leave it off and it works fine. Wyse 30's don't seem quite as fast. VTxxx terminals seem even slower. Of course Wyse 50s aren't perfect... They've got magic cookies. They don't have programmable character fonts, windows, or other fancy things like that. But they do at least insert and delete lines, and they sure are (relatively) fast! -Tod
