Way back in the beginning of March, I submitted an article to this newsgroup requesting suggestions for songs that could be played in church (Lutheran) during my wedding ceremony. Well, the wedding took place on May 29, and everything was beautiful. The two songs my husband and I finally picked were: 1. She's Got A Way, by Billy Joel - this was played just before the processional and by a male friend accompanied by a guitar. 2. You've Got A Friend, by James Taylor - this was played just before we said our vows to each other and by a girl friend of ours accompanied by a guitar. The highlights of the ceremony were ones we will never forget. First, I got nervous saying my vows, and instead of saying, "...I pledge to you my love and trust," I said, "I pledge to you my trove and lust!" Even our pastor had to purse his lips on that one. Then, someone wrote the word " HELP" across the soles of my husband's shoes so that when we knelt down at the altar we heard a lot of whispering and giggling from the congregation and couldn't figure out why! Anyway the main purpose of this article is to thank everyone who mailed me suggestions directly and to those who posted suggestions on the net. You made the decision a lot easier and the choices many. Thanks again. Cathy Breault mhuxm!cjc
