A couple of weeks ago I posted an article in comp.sources.wanted asking
for a help program for a sysV machine, however I neglected to cross-post
the article to comp.sources.d I feel this could have been a mistake considering
I only received two replies. One asking me to forward any stuff I received
and the other telling me about the vms help facility. Unfortunately the
vms help facility that I have (november 1984 version) only seems to be
available for bsd machines. I have tried getting the program to work on
a 4.3 bsd machine but to no avail.
So if anyone has any help programs out there for either bsd or sysv
machines which they know work on there machine could they please send
me a description of the program (man doc, readme doc ..anything!!).
I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who has got a working
version of the vms help facility program (on either sysV or BSD).
Many thanks
Miles
