I am told the new version (1.4) of mpss is to appear in comp.sources.games
very soon. It is still only guaranteed to run ok on BSD 4.2, so all
of you who made alterations to the old mpss to get it going on a different
machine will haveto do the same to this one Im afraid. However, although
the changes to the code are not alot, the game has changed quite a bit.
You now have more nasty enemies when in single-player-mode. Also several
bugs (one pretty serious one) are now remedied. mpssclean is more thourough too.
Unfortunately though if you discover any porting problems I wont be
around to help as Im changing job & loosing net access. (SNIF!)
I hope though you will enjoy the new version more than the original!
