[comp.sources.d] back to comp.sources.d where it belongs.

Actually, since Gilmore has been flaming discussion in alt.sources, it
is not clear that that would be ``where it belongs.'' Generally people
who get both alt and comp groups view them as all part of the same pie
and people who don't view them as different. If there is to be any
more discussion, doubtless it will take place whereever it takes place
as is the way with most discussions on the net.

Sigh. May I suggest that it's time for "alt.sources.d"? Or maybe the
Original Rogue Moderator (and no, that's *not* Bob )-: should saddle up
again? ;-)

[ deleting Brandon's remarks, not applicable to what I'm following up ]

First, let me repeat that I thought that the attack on Bob Webber was
senseless, childish, needless, and uncalled for. He contributed a program
to alt.sources and got flamed for it. I can't be convinced that Bob can't
handle a grenade or so rolling down the hall, so I'll get back to my point.

I asked to have the discussion about the alt.sources contribution moved
back where it started, not 'back where it belongs'. In particular, I never
said
Subject: Re: back to comp.sources.d where it belongs.

I don't think that the discussion belongs anyplace. I just asked that it
move back to where it started. Not where the discussion started, where
what was being discussed started. I was complaining about where it didn't
belong, and never suggested where it did belong. The remarks by twwells (or
what ever the name is), in my opinion _belong_ in /dev/null, albeit his
right and privilege to make them.
