[comp.sources.d] Has anybody modified the remote tape library?

Some time ago there was posted a remote tape library and hacks to
tar.c and dd.c to use it.  It allows a file argument of the forms
host:dev   or   host.user:dev   in tar and dd commands to use a 
tape drive on a remote machine.

Has anybody modified the rmtlib.c to take the more modern form
user@host:dev           ?
