It was suggested by some of the players here I post my idea for hunt
to this group. I am interested in your replies so please do send them...

Hello hunt players,

I have an idea I would like some feedback on (other than "That would
be to hard to program" and "That would change the game to much for
me.") If my idea changes your idea of the game, tell me how! To just
tell me it changes the game too much doesn't mean anything to me. It
would be as if I told you I don't like Honda's because they are too
different than Yugo's (to pick some kind of comparison.)

Item Name: Cape
Item Purpose: To act as a counterpart to the Boots.
Item Useage: If a player were to pick up the Cape (ala, walk over
it,) s/he would then be given some special abilities as well as
some disadvantages. If a player is equipped with the Cape s/he
will be able to deflect other players bullets.

In much the same way a player wearing Boots can wade through
slime, the Cape will allow players to laugh at bullets. Spent
bullets will not be useable, they will just 'vanish' in much the
same way slime just "dries up." The cape is not impervious a jab
    from a knife.

Players wearing a Cape will not be able to scan (as the Cape will
not permit the scanner signal to escape the player's body.) This
is to make the Cape work differently than the Boots, which won't
    let you cloak yourself.

If a player manages to accumilate both a Cape and set of Boots,
they will be impervious to both slime and bullets. But both
bombs, grenades, mines, and knives will all be a good way to
    inflict damage.

When wearing both Cape and Boots, a player would be stuck with
having to run around "blind." Unable to cloak (due to the boots,)
and unable to scan (thank's to the Cape.) This will work as an
equalizer for players with out the added protection.

Upon death of the player wearing the Cape, it would fall to the
ground if the player was stabbed to death. If the player was
bombed to death (or if God has a hand in the demise,) the Cape
would take off and rebound around the maze much like the Boots
    do.
