After my system crashed (hard), I saved most everything except instructions on uucp'ing in software from osu-cis (specifically on getting the directory of files). I even still have my Systems line (which worked). So, if someone could please tell me how to re-get the list of available files (the uucp lines, not the Systems entry), I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance. Bill ...!uunet!visenix!grambo!bill

For anyone else in similar straits, the L.sys/Systems lines are:
----------------
#
# Micom switch 2400 bps
#
osu-cis Any ACU 2400 1-614-292-3124 "" \r\c Name? osu-cis nected \c GO \d\r\d\r\d\r in:--in:--in: Uanon
#
# Micom switch 1200 bps
#
osu-cis Any ACU 1200 1-614-292-3112 "" \r\c Name? osu-cis nected \c GO \d\r\d\r\d\r in:--in:--in: Uanon
----------------
Then pick up the file ~/GNU.how-to-get. It in turn will tell you to
pick up ~/ls-lR.Z to get the full list.
