[comp.sources.d] Suspending NN

lamy@ai.utoronto.ca (Jean-Francois Lamy) (06/29/89)

A couple of people here have noticed that it takes two (2) ^Z to get out
of nn. Relevant data: SunOS 4.0.1, nn invoked from tcsh. This behaviour
does not occur under SunOS 3.5, compiled from the same source.

Sounds fairly weird to me. I use nn every day, and have never seen this
problem. I mostly use nn on a Sun-4 running 4.0. Could it be a SunOS 4.0.1
problem??

Nor does it under BSD4.3 under ksh.

Suspending works fine also under HP-UX 3.0 with both csh and ksh.
