As far as genesis "going down hill", I have to agree with Gil. I don`t think they are, there just doing some good commercial stuff. I`d rather listen to genesis doing abacab that ac/dc doing whatever. As far as the talent goes I think you both missed two importent members. WHAT ABOUT TONY BANKS !!! He did most of the song writting, exspecially on wind and wuthering. And what about Rutherford. In the early days Gabriel played a major part in the lyrics, but don`t forget who were the musicians that wrote the music. Don`t get me wrong I like Gagriel alot. Tony Banks does have a solo album or two but I don`t no there names, I heard them thou and there good. He also wrote the music to a movie, does anyone know the name ? Now for the answers to some of those trivia questions. 1) ans. UK of course ! great band. 2) ans. John Wetton, bassist from Uria Heep, remember those guys, they where good in there day. And also ROXI, not to bad of a group. He also played with Larry Norman for a while. 3) I`m not sure what your asking here. Are you talking about ASIA, I don`t think so because Bruford wasn`t in it. 4) ans. Terry Bozzio, excellent drummer wish he wouldn`t have gone of on the track he did. I can recall the group there in right now, but I no it`s kind of new wave/punk. 5) You got me stumpt right now. Getting back to Genesis, I think a great replacement for Hackett could have been Steve Hillage. Here some good trivia questions for you: 1) What band did Steve Hillage play in, and what`s his famous riff. 2) Who is the Madcap Laughs, and what person was the main influence in that group ? 3) Windwood left Trafic and formed a group with Stomu Yamashta, What is the name of that group ? No one out still has not heard anything else of Jobson ? Mike Messina ihuxt!messina ihuxl!mesina
