	When I tried to compile this on our Sun 3, I had (apart from lint
complaining about mismatched pointers on all the signal() calls), the
following undefined functions:

	FD_SET()
	FD_ZERO()
	FD_ISSET()

I assume from the code that they are munging the file descriptors, but I'd
like to know exactly what they do before I implement a version of them.
