I created the "feep" example given in the man page for ppm, ran ppmtoxwd, and ran xwud. I get the following message: xwud: XWD file format version mismatch.xwud: Error => exiting. I'm running X11 under Ultrix 3.0. I can run xwud on other stuff without trouble. Can anybody explain this version problem? Since I don't have access to any little-endians running X, it's hard for me to fix them. I don't suppose DEC would like to donate a pmax with a color frame buffer to LBL/RTSG...? (I'm semi serious about this. I'm sure Van Jacobson could use one for his network research.) Anyway, if I do come up with a fix, I will certainly post a (shudder) second patch. --- Jef Jef Poskanzer jef@well.sf.ca.us {ucbvax, apple, hplabs}!well!jef If Patrick Henry thought that taxation without representation was bad, he should see how bad it is with representation.
