Release 2.3 of flex, a lex replacement, is now available. You can get it via anonymous ftp to ftp.ee.lbl.gov (128.3.254.68; retrieve flex-2.3.tar.Z, using binary mode) or it should be turning up in comp.sources.unix during the first week of July or so. The main changes between 2.3 and the 2.2 alpha release are bug fixes and documentation clarifications. If you don't have anonymous ftp or comp.sources.unix access, let me know and I'll mail you the uuencoded tar file.
