[comp.sources.d] Any good terminal programs out there for Unix?

sparks@corpane.UUCP (John Sparks) (07/14/90)

We are looking for a good terminal program (with zmodem, ymodem, etc) for
Unix.

We have Pcomm, but it acts flakey on our system (Interactive SYS V, on a
386 machine). It looses characters and screws up the screen whenever you
finish downloading a program.

Are there any other programs out there, like Pcomm, but better? Any commercial
ones? PD? Shareware? Anyware? :-)

We would love to get one that works on Xwindows, but we will settle for
something that works right from a shell.

It just seems odd that there is so much Unix software floating around, games
utilities, compilers, networking, etc, but no good basic terminal programs.

Thanks in advance for any help. Please reply by email.
