I currently have an electric hot water heater. With a family of 5, we use a lot of hot water and NJ electric rates are among the highest in the nation. Natural gas is not available in my area and solar is quite expensive to install with questionable return. I am considering an oil fired water heater since I already have oil for my forced air furnace. My oil distributer has recommended and is willing to install a unit. My question is ...
