[comp.sources.d] Anyone interested in trn for msdos?

davison%borla@kithrup.com (01/19/91)

I'm currently forced to read news under MSDOS. As such, I quickly hacked
out a port of trn to avoid the crippling effects of Threaded Withdrawl
Syndrome. I don't yet have the shell scripts for posting or saving ported,
but if there is an interest, I'm sure something could be done.

So, if you're interested in using, or (better yet) helping to port/test a
MSDOS version of trn drop me a line. In a short while I'll be bringing up
Minix on my system, so the time is now to get a MSDOS port of trn working.

	YOU BET !!!!

If you want a wish list:

tRRn over nntp (naturally) using clarckson PD
		tcp-ip for dos.

A little less demanding would be trn with pc-nfs
		or ftp-software's pc-nfs.

Anything close to that is more than one could ask for.

	YES ... THERE IS A GOD !!! :-)
