I am new at this, so if you are eager to flame, this could be your chance.... :-) First, I can not FTP, and we must get UUENCODED binaries. I have been accessing the SIMTEL archives with great success, and would like to do the same with comp.soruces I was going to try the princeton pro bono ftp server, until the recent barrage of responses that followed that posting. (Btw, I am aware of the local uunet archives or buying the tape for $150, but that would require co-operation/approval of far too many people, IMHO) I am seeking a mail server site for comp.sources The one listed in the frequent posting, "hrc!archives" is not an address I can mail to. Is there an alternate address? (i.e. "hrc@asuvax.asu.edu" etc?) Or, are there other "mail server" sites besides the (very) few listed in the "about" posting? Curious in Torrance....
