[comp.sources.d] identifying dependencies in source postings

Mr. Schyndel, I think your flaming is misplaced.

Most of the people in this discussion are not claiming that all software
posted to the net should support all variants of Unix.  They are saying that
authors should *identify* the dependencies in their introductory postings when
posting source to the net, so that people do not go through the trouble of
downloading and unpacking the sources, only to discover that they won't
compile.
