All, Yes, Again I call for some help with a commrade's paperweight, er TRS-80 Model I...... If you remember last, it wasn't working. Thanx to the responses from all over, it now works (ie, lights turn on, disk drives turn). Thanx to everyone (too numerous to name) who took the time to reply... Now there is a small problem. Simply put: Does anyone have a copy of TRS-DOS that will work with a Model I + Expansion Interface, with floppy and printer control? Our bona-fide TRS-DOS V2.8 disk seems to be defective, and hangs machine often, especially after leaving BASIC... My friend would be willing to pay for diskette & mailing, and will provide proof-of-ownership of the V2.8 disk for those copyright conscious persons. Simply get in contact w/ me (in whatever manner you desire) to make arrangements... Oh, Radio Shack said "you're on your own" when we asked them about this, so they were no help at all (with this problem).... Anyway, all help here is appreciated... Also, I checked "list-of-lists" for all the ARPA bboards, and could find nothing that pertains specifically to TRS machines, but if I am incorrect, and should be posting this elsewhere, please let me know!!!!
