[net.wanted] data dictionary systems information wanted

    My group is looking into the possibility of acquiring a data dictionary
    system for our data base project. If you have, or know of, any UNIX-based
    data dictionary packages, please response via mail including the following
    information :

         1. originator(s)/contact information
         2. is it a public domain or proprietary software ?
         3. is it DBMS-dependent or free-standing with any interface available
            to any specific DBMS ?
         4. pointer(s) to any documentation that might help the initial 
            evaluation of the system
         5. experience with the system, pros and cons

    Any information other than those would also be appreciated.
