[comp.sys.misc] "Amstrad" word processor, is it any good?

Has anyone heard of an "Amstrad" wordprocessor? My friend, who is
a writer and a total computer novice, bought one and is trying to learn
how to use it. Apparently it is made in Jolly Old England. It uses
"Locomotive" software with "Locascript". It uses odd sized floppy
discs which are in a Sony-like hard case of 3 1/8 by 3 7/8 inches.
It also seems to use the CP/M operating system, which is hidden from
the user.
I don't like it, because the screen has a rather low resolution, and the
floppies seem to be non-standard.
With CP/M, the locomotive in the software is steam driven, I am sure. :-)
Cheers,
Bernd <Bernard>
