[comp.sys.misc] BBC Program on computers

wmartin@almsa-1.arpa (Will Martin -- AMXAL-RI) (01/05/87)

For those who are interested, the BBC is resuming its "Computer World" radio
program, which was last aired in 1985. It will be a weekly 15 minute
discussion of various current aspects of computing; I would guess that the
emphasis will be on micros, but the preliminary announcements I've heard
haven't been specific. It begins today, 5 Jan 87, and the first program is
to be a look back at what happened to the industry since the last show
back in 1985.

Times of broadcast are:

Monday, 1615 GMT

Monday, 2315 GMT

Tuesday, 0145 GMT

Tuesday, 0730 GMT

The prime North American airing will be the GMT Tuesday 0145 one, which is
7:45 PM CST Monday nights here. Best frequencies at that time are 6175 kHz
and 5975 kHz.

Will
