[comp.sys.misc] Seeking help on old S-100 board

kevinb@crash.UUCP (02/09/87)

I am looking for information on the Microdesign MR-8 ROM/RAM S-100
board, part # 440-1011A, Assy # 720-1011B. I'm trying to get the board
to run in a 4Mhz or better environment, but can't seem to get the
2102 memory chips to run in a 4Mhz environment. The part #s for the
memory chips are 2102A-2 or 21L02B
with the manufacturer's mark like
the one immediately to the right. ##################
If anyone knows or has any info ####
on this board, don't hesitate to ### #############
let me know. I am also looking #### ####
for any available information on ############# ###
modifications to the IMSAI and/or ####
Wamemco S-100 frontpanels, and what ##################
(if any) mods were made to these
boards to make them a little better
running, especially considering the
memory loading I have of approximately 304K on the box I'd like to run
a frontpanel on. I'm also looking for a set of schematics on the
IMSAI EXP-10 motherboard, as I have some parts missing and some cuts
to the one I have, as well as 2 connectors that I have no idea of the
use for. The rev. # on the EXP-10 is REV 2.2, AR 1.2, if that helps.
Oh yes, if you want to contact me personally, I'm at 619/282-5661,
USNail 4037 34th Street #4, San Diego, CA 92104. Thanks!
