Does anyone have experience with a printer that can print continuous form envelopes reliably (1000 to 2500 envelopes). A friend of mine is using a Dynax, and complains that the feed mechanism is jamming after 50 or so envelopes. He welcomes daisywheel, NLQ dot matrix or laser soultions. One think I would pay attention to is whether the pin-feed is before or after the rubber roller. Epsons have it after, so they PULL the paper through, some others have it before so they PUSH the paper. Pushing the paper greatly increases you chances of jamming, for obvious mechanical reasons. I have a Citizen printer that pushes it through and I always use friction-feed in combination with pin-feed to prevent jams on long print runs. This trick has worked well for me. The same strategy does not work well on my old NEC 8023, so it's all relative. If I were buying a new printer today I would insist on getting one that PULLS the paper. -- Pablo Ghenis
