[comp.sys.misc] TV tuners

RE: TV tuners and their price,

I got one for $90 by some Japanese outfit - can't remember their name.
I works very well - I hooked it to a Commodore 1702 NTSC monitor
and it was impressive - much better than my RCA tv (which I thought
had a good picture). You can find tuners in stores that sell clones
or similar equipment from the far east, the type of stores which
don't cater to "businness" types. Or check commodore computer magazines,
I have seen adds for tuners in them.

If you need more info, reply back to me - I will lokk up the
manufacturer of my unit.

Magnavox sells a tuner with audio and composite video outputs for
about $70. The local Service Merchandise store carries it.
