Billy, please post to the info-ibmpc "newsletter" board. I don't have their mailbox handy. Thanx. I've just gotten the latest copy of QMODEM, and am having a problem with it. I use an electronic mail system where, what with system load, it pays for me to compose my message on micro, and then send it to the system. With PROCOMM, I can just ASCII upload my message file after keying in the address and subject fields in the E-MAIL system. When I try an ASCII upload with QMODEM, however, my file arrives double-spaced: one text line, one blank line, etc. I've tried using shorter line lengths, ensuring the file is ASCII, etc. Since PROCOMM works all right, my guess is that the carriage return QMODEM transmits causes the E-MAIL system to translate it as a double carriage return. Does anyone know of a way to patch this, say with DEBUG? Frank Starr SAC.55SRW-LGS@E.ISI.EDU
