About two years ago, there was a lively discussion in this newsgroup regarding the BSR X10 control units, controlling software, and other home automation related stuff. I did get the X10 code ported to an OS9 system, and have been happily running it for over a year. Thanks 10E7 to the original poster for this gem! I also saw a technical note that involved placing a capacitor between two of the elctrical circuits in the house. This was to help with the problem of a controller on one leg of the circuit not being able to reliably get a command to a module on another leg of the circuit. Can anybody unearth this article, or just give me the lowdown on what needs to be done, and how? Many thanks for any help! -- Pete Lyall (OS9 Users Group V.P.)
