Date: 28 March 1988, 22:10:58 PST From: 7GMADISO at POMONA To: INFO-MICRO at SIMTEL20 Henry Aaron asked for recommendations as to where to go for a dependable '386 machine from a reputable dealer. My suggestion? The Tandy 4000. The machine has gotten some excellent reviews, is supported by one of the biggest support networks that exists, and is reasonably priced.

Be sure to check the quality of the support in your area. We have three Radio Shack stores in town that sell computers - but nobody there KNOWS anything about them. Tandy computers notoriously lack full compatibility with anything else.
