Greetings, Recently we began to purchase HP Laserjet II printers. These printers are going to replace all of our Diablo 630 printers. Most of the users still want access to an IDS or Epson printer for various applications. One application is printing wide Lotus spreadsheets. About a year ago I remember an advertisement for fonts that allow the HP Laserjet II to print very small but readable characters. If anyone uses or knows about these fonts and where to purchase them please send me the information. Also is there a way to feed the HP laserjet long paper and have it recognize the full landscape width? Thanks in advance, Jacob ******************************************************************************* Date sent (Israel time): 21-NOV-1988 18:49:07 ******************************************************************************* JACOB RICHMAN * <JRICHMAN%FAB8%SC.INTEL.COM@RELAY.CS.NET> * INTEL ELECTRONICS * Disclaimer: All thoughts and statements here are my own FAB8 * and NOT those of my employer, and are also not JERUSALEM, ISRAEL * based on, or contain, restricted information. *******************************************************************************

Well, I don't know about all the different places you can obtain LaserJet fonts from, but I suggest that you contact a small firm in Los Angeles called "Custom Fonts". They specialize in 300dpi fonts and typefaces made to order, or off the shelf, and the samples I've seen are exceptionally attractive. Contact info: Don Taylor Custom Fonts 6394 Smoke Tree Avenue Agoura CA 91301 -- USA -- +01 818 889 2349 You might also check with BitStream and Xerox (the Ventura Publisher group) for information on others... Good luck. -- Dave Taylor taylor@hplabs.hp.com
